royal wedding – sobbing

Tissues are a problem – obviously I don’t ever buy those stupid, little, plastic wrapped packs, preferring as I do my reusable handkerchiefs or if desperate, toilet roll. However there are perhaps times when a box of tissues does come in handy. ..and then there are problems.

Buy what you think is a cardboard box of paper tissues only to find that once you rip open the dispenser bit, that hole at the top, you find it is reinforced with a plastic collar….grrrrr

Unless you buy the cheapo Tesco range – so cheap they don’t bother to reinforce the hole. So there you go, totally plastic free tissues for your snivelling, snobby guests … you know the ones you invited round to watch the royal wedding with.

If they are really snobby you can get one of those lovely tissue box covers…
