January – plastic free bikkies

 

Its time to finally give up plastic wrapped biscuits. I have been talking of it for some time but … well… you know how it is…. Can you find a plastic free biscuit in any of your local super markets? The answer is of course no.

 

But before you gasp and clutch your bosoms and wonder if I really am going biscuit free, let me assure you I am not making that much of a sacrifice – at least not in the sweet, tea time, snacks line. No giving up plastic wrapped, sweet bikkies is easy peasy thanks to the wonderful Queensgate Market Huddersfield.

 

The loose biscuit stall sells perfectly wonderful biscuits to suit all tastes – including sugar and gluten free. Just choose what you want and they come wrapped in a paper bag. They are much nicer than most brand biscuits and for that reason alone well worth a try.

 

Savoury biscuits – the ones you have with cheese are a little bit more difficult.
