Cards have been the bane of Pams life - I mean greeting cards not gambling or credit cards – thats all in the past.
Greeting cards — there are times when you need to send them … but when you go to buy them they come wrapped in icky plastic.
I love my friends but I love the planet – what to do. I know you can send e cards but thats just mean. No cards = no mates in Pams shallow social circles.
So check these out from carte postale – printed on sustainable board, printed with vegetable inks but best of all from Pams point of view – they come in biodegradable cellophane wrappers.

While talking of things celebratory, its that time of year for spending - on clothes on presents on food. For those of you who live near Huddersfield check this out for a range of eco duds and locally made gifts.

I have the same problem, but yesterday found Clintons has a lot of cards without individual wrappers! Paperchase only has postcards without plastic

Found you via Fake Plastic Fish(!)
I’m off to a crafting day today with my local club where I plan to “recycle” my own & my parents’ (and frankly anyone else’s I could get my hands on) xmas cards from last year into…. xmas cards for this year! Not entirely waste-free, and definitely not a new idea, but cuts down on the cost & plastic considerably…

Thanks for the tips – yes indeedy postcards are the easiest plastic free cards – those in book form are usually unwrapped but the trouble with PCs of course is that they flop over in the wind. I will check out Clintons – I thought that unwrapped cards had gone the way of other things in the past.
Oh I do wish I was good enough to make recycled cards. Three cheers for your real committment.
